Mid-winter Blues

Still cold and snowing in February!  And in a deep freeze.  So it is too miserable to do much besides keep working the Hogmanay purge.

So since I’m on a roll with the declutter of unnecessary clothing and items I trudged on.  The closet is complete and now the dresser drawers need to be addressed. Taking clothing out of the drawers…trying them on and deciding what should be repurposed, what should be thrown away and what should be given away continues apace.

And don’t forget that in all this we are striving to get everything in good repair. So time to tighten drawer knobs, replace batteries and ensure that light bulbs are replaced and lamps are functioning properly. If we are deciding to love what we have and be surrounded by things that give us happiness and peace, let’s make sure that what we keep is useful and not hazardous.

Tightening the drawer pulls

Another bin ready to go for clothing donation and the rest of the garbage bag filled up!  And the goal of a clean and tidy bedroom is closer!

If you are embracing Hogmanay how is your journey progressing?
